Perth software company expands

Australian-owned MICROMINE, a leading provider of software solutions for the mining and exploration industry, has moved its London office to a new, bigger site in Clerkenwell.
MICROMINE founder and Managing Director Graeme Tuder said, “The London office continues to exceed growth expectations year on year, and remains the fastest growing operation within our group.”
Mr Tuder also stated that MICROMINE plans to double the size of the UK team in 2012. The London team will include geologists, technical specialists and business development managers.
MICROMINE currently has over 12,000 clients in more than 90 countries. The new office will help the company continue building a presence across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
“The London office is primed for success and will support our strategic plan to become a truly international provider with a local presence,” said Mr Tuder.
MICROMINE was established in Perth in 1986, and has since built a presence in 20 of the world’s major mining capitals. MICROMINE provides software for the entire mining process – from geological exploration to mine production management – and also has a consulting arm, MICROMINE Consulting Services.
