This eighth Salone del Gusto establishes the event’s international profile and confirms it as a key date in the calendar of everyone around the world who cares deeply about food. The Salone del Gusto and its parallel event, Terra Madre, have by now become two inseparable and interconnected halves, in constant dialog with each other. They offer perhaps the only place in the world where peasants and artisan producers, academics and chefs, wine connoisseurs and novice food lovers can come together in a spirit of exchange and friendship.
A dense network of relationships is created here on behalf of food that is sustainable and can still transmit joy, food restored to its true value. The Salone del Gusto is educational, because it is about learning, knowing, comparing and discovering, but always in the name of a right to responsible and fully shared pleasure.
The Salone del Gusto and Terra Madre are above all a festival, celebrating what we eat and the people who make it.

Description
Over 65,000 square feet of floor area available, divided between four single floor pavilions interconnected adjacent Oval, the facility built for the XX Olympic Winter Games of Torino 2006 for speed skating events, which came in July 2009 operational and management within the perimeter of Lingotto Fiere. With the construction of the fifth pavilion, the exhibition will reach an area covered 80,000 square meters, while outdoor areas available - between central and Oval - add up to 62,000 sqm.
The venue has 8 conference rooms, seating from 20 to 600 seats, located within the Halls. Two galleries with multi-services available to exhibitors and visitors, who can also count on 5,500 parking spaces, three hotels with four and five star hotels and a shopping center nearby.
Lingotto Fiere is a space versatile adaptable to every need, offering a wide range of technical services and support to exhibitors. Rooms, halls and outdoor areas is suitable for the charming settings for special events.
