Education in Western Australia

There are five world-class universities in Western Australia.

Universities provide programs at undergraduate (Bachelor) and postgraduate level (Grad/postgraduate Certificates, Diplomas and Master by Coursework or by Research programs as well as PhDs).

Each university individually assesses students’ eligibility to be accepted into a course. The Government of Western Australian European Office can guide students in their choice of course and advise on level of qualification.

All institutions are also promoted by educational recruitment agents across Europe. We can also provide information (link to my email address)  how to find an educational agent representative an institution of your interest in your home country.

Vocational Education and Training sector (VET) is also well represented in Western Australia. There are 11 Technical and Further Education (TAFE) colleges as well as many other private colleges in Perth. All provide Certificate I, II III and IV, Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas to international students.

English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) are offered by over 20 English schools in Perth with some being individual schools and others affiliated with colleges or universities.

Students from all over the world come to Perth to learn English while enjoying the lifestyle and weather. Many choose shorter programs up to 12-weeks, some undertake preparation courses for specialised English exams and there are also students who improve their language skills to undertake further study at a college or a University in Perth.

Students can take IELTS test in two locations in Perth.
