The AU$220 million Perth Convention Exhibition Centre opened in mid-2004 and provides delegates with a state-of-the-art facility that has enhanced Perth’s appeal as a sophisticated conference destination.

Western Australia offers convention and incentive visitors the ultimate experience, not only in a wondrous location, but through a variety of world class events.  Through-out the length and breadth of Western Australia, the calendar of events is both diverse and impressive with a strong international flavour.  From the World Puppetry Festival and Rugby Series (Wallabies V Springboks) to the Red Bull Air Race there are events that will excite, engage and enrich all attendees.

The European Office of the Government of Western Australian works closely with EventsCorp, the Events division of Tourism Western Australia and the Perth Convention Bureau to grow the major events opportunities and business tourism markets from Europe and the United Kingdom.
